Agreed. Most of those goals he didn't have a chance on. You can hardly blame him for the second Kessel goal either. If you take everything away from a guy except a hole just slightly bigger than the puck, you should get a save.

Want to say nice write-up on the game.

I certainly wasn't sure how things were going to turn out after the first period and the team getting down 2-0. If the Ducks lowered their guard at that point I can't blame them.

JVR and Kessel are just a dangerous pair and when they are going it is tough to shut them down. Coming back against a team like the Ducks is just a good sign for the Leafs.

Hopefully the Ducks road trip otherwise goes well. No complaints if they want to annihilate the other Eatern teams they have to play .

I think Carlyle gave the Leafs the same "pep talk" after the first period that Boudreau gave the Ducks after the first of the Stars game.

The Ducks lost this game with their ineptness on the PP, especially the 5 on 3.
